Thursday 5 July
Still in set up mode, more entries arrive, more media and more admin!

Jas the Craft ACT Exhibitions Curator has done a great job laying out the gallery space for Knit1 Blog1. He's changed the gallery somewhat, seating areas, spot lighting for the knitting, wall space for the blogs and for some knitting. We can host the workshops and knit-ins within the gallery space and people can come in and sit at the blog terminals and read through some blogs and jump from link to link, there are so many sites...

Two little knitted black cats joined the project today and I had an email from She Knits Too and I think we will be seeing some fine works from her too.

Today I was interviewed by Richard from Canberra Arts Marketing on Artsound FM about the show. I was able to have a short rave for broadcasting this Saturday 7 July at about 11am EST Australia.

And I managed to send all the Board papers out for the Craft ACT Board meeting next Wednesday. Lots of little things going on all the time. The new website is getting quite a response and Diana has been really busy at the back end of it. Thanks to all those who are wandering through it and helping us fine tune it now that it has gone live. We expect a few creases to be smoothed and we will have a more formal launch soon.

Back to the knitting. I took a pic of the entries that are coming together in the storeroom all wrapped up.

I thought I caught sight of one Lulu the Lamb in the bottom corner there. I came back later and there was a bit of movement in the store room:

A bit of a closer look just to tempt you:

Good friends catching up maybe......

I would be careful about letting Lulu talk to Trudy Bunny... she's known to be a baaaad influence!

The show is coming together so well - looking forward to next Friday :D

Lulu realy is a jubilant delinquent. If you have let her out of solitary confinement, you are in for big trouble!
